FinregE and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) are thrilled to announce the official launch of the new and improved FCA Handbook website, marking the beginning of a new chapter in how UK regulation is accessed, understood and applied.
This is the result of a shared vision between FinregE and the FCA to build a smarter, more accessible digital Handbook that meets the real needs of the people who rely on it every day: compliance professionals, legal teams, financial institutions, and individual users across the UK and beyond.

A more intuitive regulatory experience
The new FCA Handbook website retains all the essential features of the original platform while delivering enhanced functionality, making it significantly easier for users to:
- Navigate and search for the content they need.
- Understand the connections between rules.
- Compare versions of Handbook content to track changes over time.
Since the beta release in July 2025, several upgrades have been implemented based on the feedback the FCA received:
- Simplified formatting to improve the readability of Handbook provisions.
- Ability to download PDF versions of Handbook sourcebooks and improved PDF designs.
- Upgraded ‘favourite’ and alert features and sign up to email alerts.
- New video guides to accompany written tutorials for quick and easy access to information needed.
FCA Handbook print and subscribe service
